This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Perfect Shapes (“the Game”, “we”) handles information when you use it on iOS or Android.
◦ Information we collect
The Game does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information.
Stored on your device only: your game progress (scores, stars, streaks, settings). This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Game.
Collected by our advertising partner: the Game shows optional, opt-in rewarded video advertisements served by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource Mobile Ltd., a Unity company). When an ad is loaded or shown, the advertising SDK may collect:
- Device information (model, operating system, language, screen size)
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS — only if you grant tracking permission — or GAID on Android)
- IP address (used to infer approximate, city-level location)
- Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped)
This data is used to serve, measure, and — where you have consented — personalize advertisements. Unity’s privacy policy is available at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Game Center (iOS): if you are signed in to Game Center, your scores are submitted to Apple’s leaderboards under your Game Center nickname. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy; we do not receive or store your Game Center identity.
◦ Tracking permission (iOS)
On iOS, the Game asks for tracking permission using Apple’s standard App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the Game works identically and ads are served without cross-app tracking (contextual ads only). You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
◦ Your choices and rights
- Ads in the Game are always optional — they only play when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit.
- You may withdraw or change ad-related consent through your device settings (tracking permission on iOS, “Delete advertising ID” on Android).
- If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or another region with data-protection laws (GDPR or similar), you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection regarding personal data processed by our advertising partner. Requests can be sent to us at the contact below, or directly to Unity via their privacy policy page.
- California residents: we do not sell personal information ourselves; ad partners’ processing can be limited through your device’s ad settings.
◦ Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will address it.
◦ Data retention
We store no personal data on our own servers — we operate none. On-device progress remains until you uninstall the Game. Data collected by the advertising SDK is retained according to Unity’s privacy policy.
◦ Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves (for example, if new features or partners are added). The current version is always available at this page, with the effective date above.
